This ride begins at Hurkey Creek county campground. The ride is great for beginners or skilled riders. This ride
is great for taking in some scenery or as a warm-up for the more difficult rides in Hurkey Creek. The ride concludes
at the waterfalls on Hurkey creek (might be dry duing summer months). This is an excellent trail for the whole
family, kids, mom and dad.
**Hurkey Creek Campground, like all campgrounds in the mountains do have a population of rattlesnakes. Please watch
for them as they like to bask in the summer sun on the dirt road. Take caution, do not aggravate or disturb them,
just attempt to go around and leave them alone and they will leave you alone. |
